The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on August 03, 2023, notified the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Sharing of Inter-State Transmission Charges and Losses) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2023 further to amend the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Sharing of Inter-State Transmission Charges and Losses) Regulations, 2020.
The following has been stated: -
•The Billing, Collection, and disbursement of the inter-State transmission charges and losses for the billing period of October 2023 shall be undertaken in the billing month of December 2023.
•It shall come into force with effect from October 01, 2023.
