Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Maharashtra on August 04, 2023, notified the Seeds (Maharashtra Amendment) Act, 2023 further to amend the Seeds Act, 1966, in its application to the State of Maharashtra.

The following has been amended: -

•In section 19 of the Seeds Act, 1966, in its application to the State of Maharashtra (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”), clauses (b) and (c) shall be deleted.

The detailed amendments are given in the document attached below.
