The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, (DERC) on August 02, 2023, notified DERC (Forum for Redressal of Grievances of the Consumers and Ombudsman) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2023 to further amend Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Forum for Redressal of Grievances of the Consumers and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2018.
The following has been stated-
•Amendment to Regulation 25 (1) of Principal Regulations which states the Term of Office and conditions of service.
•Amendment to Regulation 9 (1) of First Amendment Regulations which states Term of office and conditions of service.
Stakeholders are requested to forward their suggestions and comments on the said Draft to the Commission latest by July 31, 2023.
