The Government of Rajasthan on August 07, 2023, issued a notification regarding the schedule for the by-elections of Panchayati Raj Institutions in various districts of the state for the month of August 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•The date of polling of Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members, Sarpanchs and Panches has been announced on August 20, 2023 (Sunday).
•There will be a holiday in the respective constituencies under the Negotiable Instruments Act (NI Act) 1881 so that the voters of those constituencies can vote.
