The Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 04, 2023, notified the Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan Vishwavidyalaya (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2023 further to amend the Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 2011.
The amendment is as follows: -
•For sub-section (1) of Section 12 of the Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan Vishwavidyalaya Amendment of Adhiniyam, 2011 following Section 12. sub-section shall be substituted, namely: -
(1) The Vic Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor from a panel of not less than three persons recommended by the committee constituted under sub-section (2) or sub-section (6)A person possessing the highest level of competence, integrity, the moral and institutional commitment shall be appointed as Vice-Chancellor The person so appointed as Vice-Chancellor shall have at least 10 years experience as a Professor in a Government College or University or shall be a distinguished academician with 10 years of experience and demonstrated academic leadership in a reputed Government research or academic administrative organization at the national level.
