The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on August 08, 2023, issued amendment to Indian Standards on Textiles, the date the amendment was established and the date till which the IS shall remain in force without the amendment has been stated.
The amendments for the following IS has been established on August 02, 2023.
• IS 4658 : 2019 Specification for Coated Paper and Board (Art and Chromo) (Second Revision) – Amendment No. 1 August 2023.
• IS 17263 : 2022 Textiles — Polyester Staples Fibres — Specification (First Revision) – Amendment No. 6 August 2023
• IS 17266 : 2019 Textiles — Viscose Staple Fibres — Specification – Amendment No. 3 August 2023
The aforesaid IS shall remain in force without the amendment till February 01, 2024.
