The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) on June 27, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Regulation on "Appropriate Use of Reverse Osmosis based Water Purification System" in the States/UTS.
The Board has received a letter from the Water Quality Management - I Division, enclosing the Gazette Notification stated in ref (1) on the regulation on "Appropriate Use of Reverse Osmosis-based Water Purification System" for circulation. A copy of the letter and the Gazette Notification are attached to the document.
As a result, it is now instructed to take action to ensure the effective dissemination and execution of said notification in the section, and to submit an action taken report to the Corporate Cell for subsequent transmission to the CPCB.
