The Government of Kerala on August 10, 2023, issued a notification regarding the National flag hosting-adhering to the Flag Code of India
The following has been stated: -
•The flag code must be strictly followed on occasions when the national flag is used.
•The national flag should be handmade or machine-made using cotton, polyester, yarn, silk, and khadi. The national flag should be rectangular in shape. Length and height should be in 3:2 ratios. The flag should be placed in such a way as to command respect and honor.
•Individuals, private institutions, and educational institutions can hoist the national flag every day. Can also be used for special occasions and celebrations. It should preserve the dignity and respect of the national flag. The national flag can be displayed day and night in public places and private homes.
