The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 11, 2023, issued a circular regarding the Change in Settlement schedule for transactions on account of the Clearing Holiday on August 16, 2023 – MFSS
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the Participants are requested to note a change in the settlement schedule on account of clearing holiday on August 16, 2023.
• The Revised Settlement schedule has been attached to the document
• It states that the fund's settlement for the redemption orders shall be as per scheme category payout guidelines.
• The Funds settlement for redemption orders will take place depending on the fund's settlement day for the scheme category, viz T+1, T+2, T+3, T+4, T+5, T+6, T+7 and T+8 where T is the transaction date and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are the number of days after the transaction date in which the redemption order has been placed.
• The Participants are requested to check the category of the scheme in the scheme master.
