Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoIB) on August 11, 2023, issued a notification regarding the enforcement date of the Cinematograph (Amendment) Act, 2023.

The following has been stated: -

•In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Cinematograph (Amendment) Act, 2023, the Central Government appoints August 11, 2023, as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
