Industry Specific ComplianceThe Coastal Aquaculture Authority, (CAA) on August 11, 2023, issued a Procedure to be followed for submission of the Application for Renewal of Registration of Coastal Aquaculture farms under Chapter V of Coastal Aquaculture Authority (Amendment) Rules, 2022.

(1) Every application for renewal of registration of a coastal aquaculture farm shall be made within two months of the expiry of such registration to the Authority in Form- Ill along with the documents establishing the ownership and the Authority shall renew the registration for a further period of five years. Provided that the Authority may undertake any inquiries including inspections as deemed fit to confirm such claim as made in the application by itself or through SubDivisional Level Committee or District Level Committee and the coastal aquaculture farm shall be liable for any acts of omission or commission under this Act, rules, regulations or Guidelines made thereunder; 

(2) The fees payable for renewal of registration shall be the same as specified under sub-rule (2) of Rule 9 for registration.

(3) The fees for the renewal of registration of the farm shall be paid to the Coastal Aquaculture Authority in the form of a Demand draft or electronically through online mode.
