The Government of Haryana on August 09, 2023, published the Haryana Panchayati Raj Finance, Budget, Accounts, Audit, Taxation, and Works (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Haryana Panchayati Raj Finance, Budget, Accounts, Audit, Taxation and Works Rules, 1996.
The following has been amended namely: -
• In rule 70 which states “Honorarium” for clauses (g) and (h), the following clauses shall be substituted and shall be deemed to have been substituted with effect from April 01, 2023, namely:-
“(g) Sarpanch : `5000/- per month
(h) Panch: `1600/- per month”
