The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) on August 11, 2023, issued a notification regarding guidelines for a unique central database of persons with disabilities, and recognition of UDID cards across the territory of the Union of India.
Under the Scheme, a unique central database of persons with disabilities, recognition of UDID card across the territory of the Union of India and potential benefits which may arise from time to time due to linking of various Government schemes with UDID card is given to persons with disabilities as per the Scheme and extend guidelines issued their under-
