The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), August 11, 2023, issued a notification regarding the effective date of certain provisions under CERC Connectivity and General Network Access to the inter-State Transmission System) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2023.
Certain provisions of the First Amendment Regulations and provisions of GNA Regulations were made effective from April 05, 2023, as per Notification dated April 06, 2023.
It is notified that:
(a) The remaining Regulations of GNA Regulations including First Amendment Regulations shall come into effect from October 01, 2023.
(b) Scheduling and Despatch of electricity with effect from October 01, 2023, shall be based on the quantum of GNA, GNARE, T-GNA and T-GNARE of each of the Designated ISTS Customers (DICs) and other users of the grid in accordance with the provisions of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations, 2023.
