The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on August 16, 2023, issued the Procedure for allocation of quota for export of broken rice on humanitarian and food security grounds, based on requests received from Governments of other Countries.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The last date for submission of an application, for obtaining licence for the export of broken rice to Senegal, Gambia, and Indonesia has been extended till the disposal of the present petition.
• This complies with the Order dated August 10, 2023, of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in W.P.(C) 8625/2023 & CM APPLs. 32727/2023.
