Finance & Taxation Compliance The Central Board of Direct Taxes, (CBDT) on August 17, 2023, notified the Income Tax Amendment (Sixteenth Amendment), Rules, 2023 to further amend the Income-tax Rules,1962.

The following has been amended-

•In the Income-tax Rules, 1962, after rule 11UAC, the 11UACA Computation of income chargeable to tax under clause (xiii) of sub-section (2) of section 56 rules shall be inserted.
