The University Grants Commission (UGC) on August 16, 2023, issued a notification inviting comments/suggestions/feedback on the Draft University Grants Commission (Recognition and Grant of Equivalence to Qualifications obtained from Foreign Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•The National Education Policy 2020 intends to promote India as a "global study destination" providing premium education at affordable cost and attracting a greater number of international students.
•In order to facilitate the same, the Draft University Grants Commission (Recognition and Grant of Equivalence to Qualifications obtained from Foreign Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2023 are placed in the public domain.
•The suggestions/ comments/feedback may be sent to [email protected] latest by September 16, 2023.
