The Government of Bihar on August 14, 2023, notified Bihar State Migrant Labour Accident Grant Scheme (Amendment) Rule, 2023 to further amend the Bihar State Migrant Labour Accident Grant Scheme Rule, 2008.
It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar
The following has been stated-
- The word One lakh shall be substituted by the words "Rs. Two lakh" in Rule 5 of the said Rule, 2008.
- The words and figures "Rs. 75,000 (Seventy-five thousand)" shall be substituted by the words and figures "Rs. 1,00,000 (One lakh)" in Rule 5A of the said Rule, 2008.
- The words and figures "Rs. 37,500 (Thirty-Seven thousand five hundred)" shall be substituted by the words and figures "Rs. 50,000 (Fifty thousand)" in Rule 5B of the said Rule, 2008.
