The Government of Maharashtra on July 25, 2023, issued a notification regarding the rates of tax on lands and buildings used or intended to be used for Residential and Non-Residential purposes.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The State Education Cess and Employment Guarantee Cess on the capital value of lands and buildings, shall be levied and collected by the Akole Nagarpanchayat.
• The table with the User Class, Education Cess, and Employment Guarantee Cess has been stated in the Schedule attached for the residential and Non-residential/commercial user class.
This shall be in effect from April 01, 2023.
