Industry Specific Compliance class="MsoNormal" style=": normal; text-align: justify;">The Ministry of Mines on August 17, 2023, issued a notification regarding the date on which the Offshore Areas Mineral (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2023 shall come into force.

The following has been stated: -

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Offshore Areas Mineral (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2023, the Central Government hereby appoints August 17, 2023, as the date on which the Act shall come into force.
