The Government of Tripura on August 09, 2023, published the Tripura Telecom Infrastructure RoW (Amendment) Guidelines, 2023 to further amend the Tripura Telecom Infrastructure RoW Guidelines, 2022
They shall come into force on August 09, 2023
The following has been amended namely: -
• In clause 3 which states “Applicability” In the second paragraph, the words ", except for mobile tower" shall be deleted.
• In clause 3 of the said guidelines, In the third paragraph, the proviso shall be substituted, namely:-
"Provided that in case of establishment of the mobile tower or pole over a private building or structure, the licensee shall submit an intimation, in writing, to the appropriate authority, prior to commencement of such establishment:"
In clause 3 of the said guidelines, In the fourth paragraph, the proviso shall be substituted, namely: -
"Provided further that along with the intimation, he/she shall also submit the details of the building or structure, where the establishment of mobile tower or pole is proposed, and a copy of certification by a State Government authorized structural engineer, attesting to the structural safety of the building or structure, where the mobile tower or pole is proposed to be established."
• In clause 6 which states “Prior Permission for establishment of telegraph infrastructure” of the said guidelines, - In the first paragraph, "Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lacs)" shall be substituted with "Rs. l,00,000/- (Rupees One Lac)"
• In clause 6 of the said guidelines, - In the second paragraph, the proviso shall be substituted, namely:- In case of existing telecom infrastructure that had been installed on or after 08 September 2017 (date of issue of Order specifying Appropriate Authority), where in formal permission has not been obtained by the concerned licensee, the necessary application for obtaining clearance for all those telegraph infrastructure shall be submitted along with certification as per para 7(2)(x) and (xi) and with administrative fee to the appropriate authority for regularization within one year of issuance of these guidelines
