Finance & Taxation Compliance The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on August 18, 2023, issued the Income Tax (Eighteenth Amendment), Rules, 2023 to further amend the Income-Tax Rules,1962.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Rule 3 which states “Value of Perquisites” sub-clause (1) which contains the table with the value of residential accommodation provided by the employer, has been substituted

The following shall come into force on September 01, 2023.
