EHS ComplianceThe Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on August 18, 2023, issued the Guidelines on Management of Pyro-metallurgical Slags (Copper Smelters)  

The following has been stated namely: -

• These guidelines will facilitate Copper Smelters units in handling and management of large volumes of slags generated from pyro-metallurgical operations due to the increased processing of copper concentrates.

• The Manufacturing process of Copper Smelters has been stated

• The Guidelines for the management of pyro-metallurgical copper slags have been stated.
