Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Haryana on August 18, 2023, issued the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1996 to further amend the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970.

The following has been amended namely: -

• Section 9 which states “Powers of a corresponding University” has the following proviso inserted namely: -

The university shall not create, amend or revise the scales of pay of non-teaching staff without obtaining the approval of the government.
