The Development and Panchayats Department, Haryana on August 18, 2023, issued the Haryana Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Haryana Panchayati Raj Rules, 1995.
The following has been state namely: -
• Rule 28A has been inserted namely: -
“28A. Application of Gram Fund, Samiti Fund and Zila Parishad Fund. Sections 21, 75, 100, 137, 146 and 209.- (1) A Gram Panchayat or Panchayat Samiti or Zila Parishad may utilize its fund for the performance of functions and duties assigned to it by or under the Act subject to the condition that any grant-in-aid by the Government to the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or Zila Parishad shall be utilized for the specific purpose for which it is assigned by the Government, if any.”
