Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Maharashtra on August 21, 2023, amends an older notification No. TEM-2020/C.R.71/TE-4, dated October 08, 2020, related to eligibility conditions for undergraduate Architectural education courses under the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.

The following has been stated: -

•In the Notification, -

In Schedule A in serial no. 3 relating to Under Graduate Course in Architecture, in column (3), in clause (1), for sub-clause (ii) the following sub-clause shall be substituted,

(ii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate (at least 40% marks in aggregate, in case of the candidate from the Reserved Categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability Category, belonging to the Maharashtra State only) or

The candidate should have passed the 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate (at least 40% marks in aggregate, in case of the candidate from the Reserved Categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability Category, belonging to the Maharashtra State only).
