The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) on August 22, 2023, notified Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa and Union Territories (Generation, Transmission and Distribution Multi Year Tariff) (first amendment) Regulations, 2023.
These Regulations shall be applicable for the determination of tariffs in all matters covered under these Regulations up to March 31, 2025, unless modified/extended.
These Regulations shall extend to the whole of the State of Goa and the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Puducherry and Chandigarh.
The following has been amended-
•Amendment in Regulation 8 which specifies the Capital Investment Plan of the Transmission System of 66kV & above voltage level shall take into account schemes costing below the threshold limit.
