Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Government of West Bengal on August 10, 2023, issued a notification to amend Notification No. 596-F.T., dated April 12, 2023, regarding the extension of amnesty for filing a returns where assessment u/s 62 has been made.

The following amendment has been stated:

• In the said notification, for the words, letters and figures “June 30, 2023” the words, letters and figures “August 31, 2023” shall be substituted.

This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from June 30, 2023.
