The Government of Karnataka on August 21, 2023, notified the Draft Karnataka Excise (Lease of the Right of Retail Vend of Liquors) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to amend further the Karnataka Excise (Lease of the Right of Retail Vend of Liquors) Rules, 1969.
The State Government may receive objections or suggestions from any person regarding the said draft before 10 days from publication.
The following has been amended-
• In Rule 18, in sub-rule 2, in the existing proviso, after the words “Kara-Samadhana Scheme–IV”, the words “KaraSamadhana Scheme – V”, shall be inserted
