The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on August 2, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Submission of Information in prescribed proforma in r/o Complaint cases where approval for Inspection/SPV verification is required.
It is observed that complaints received in any office of ESIC relating to default in compliance by factories/establishments (requiring regular inspection) are required to be examined, action proposed and monitored by CAIU till its disposal. The CAIU will analyze the data of compliance/non-compliance by employers covered under the ESI Act and formulate evidence-based criteria for the inspection of Units
In this connection all Complaint cases where approval for Inspection/SPV verification is required, from CAIU Hars, the information as attached to the document Proforma shall invariably be forwarded by regions/sub-regions for examination of the cases,
