EHS Compliance The Environment and Forest Department, Assam on August 23, 2023, issued a notification to prohibit the use or manufacture, import, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of plastic water bottles below 1000 ml capacity.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The use or manufacture, import, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of plastic water bottles below 1000 ml capacity has been prohibited in the state of Assam.

This shall come into force on October 02, 2023.
