Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on August 29, 2023, issued a notification regarding the continuation of anti-dumping duty on imports of “Fishing Net” under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975.

The following has been stated: -

•For continuation of anti-dumping duty on imports of “Fishing Net” (hereinafter referred to as the subject goods) falling under tariff item 5608 1110 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, originating in or exported from China PR (hereinafter referred to as the subject countries), Malaysia or any country other than China PR the central government has released the credentials and other specifications regarding the subject goods.

The anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall be effective from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and shall be payable in Indian currency.
