Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Textiles on August 29, 2023, notified the Cotton Bales (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2023 to amend the Cotton Bales (Quality Control) Order, 2023.

The following has been stated: -

•In the Cotton Bales (Quality Control) Order, 2023, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following subparagraph shall be substituted, namely: - “(2) It shall come into force on August 27, 2024.”

It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
