The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on August 25, 2023, issued a Consultation Paper on Flexibility in the framework of Social Stock Exchange (SSE).
•SSEAC has recommended that NPOs having notice or ongoing scrutiny by Income Tax may be permitted on SSE subject to the following:
i.Details regarding pending notices or scrutiny cases may be disclosed at the time of making the application for registration on SSE.
ii. Fines or penalties if imposed shall be disclosed as paid or appealed within 7 days.
