The Government of Rajasthan on August 25, 2023, issued a notification regarding the declaration of industrial units as public utilities under the Industrial Disputes Act, of 1947.
The following has been stated: -
•Using the powers conferred by section 2n (vi) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, to all the industrial units located in the "Japanese International Investment Zone" located in the state, for a period of 6 months from the date of issue of the notification, public utility service declares.
