Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoI&B) on August 31, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023.

The following has been stated: -

•The Central Government hereby appoints September 01, 2023, as the date on which the provisions of the Act, in so far as it relates to serial number 1 and the entries thereto in the Schedule to the said Act relating to the Press and Registration of Books Act, 1867, shall come into force.
