The Government of Chhattisgarh on August 16, 2023, issued a notification regarding the amendment of the Chhattisgarh Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 2001.
The following has been amended: -
•In the said rules, - For sub-rule (1) of rule 10, the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely: - “(1) Where the birth of a child is registered without a name, the parent or guardian of such child shall, within twelve months from the date of registration of the birth of the child, either orally or in writing, communicate to the Registrar the name of the child
