The Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) on September 08, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Facility for updating email and mobile no. on the PESO online portal
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that all licensees (Individuals and companies) having their User ID- Password are notified that the facility for updating their email and mobile is already provided in the profile created on the PESO online portal.
• It states that they may avail of this facility and keep their mobile and email addresses updated at least once every six months. This is necessary in order to send emails and SMS to licensees through online applications giving the status of the application and other details, if any by PESO.
• It may also be noted that the profile user ID and Password should be operated by the licensee and not by any third person. PESO will not be responsible in case their User ID is being used by some other person to access their profile having details of their licenses.
• It further states that the licensees may take necessary precautions to maintain the secrecy of their profile and credentials on the PESO online portal.
