The Income Tax Department, on September 14, 2023, notified regarding the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) related issues and solutions
The Taxpayers are advised to check DSC for its expiry date, registration on the e-filing portal & installation of the latest bridge application to avoid last-minute issues in e-verification.
The following issues have been addressed namely: -
• Issues pertaining to Something Went Wrong in DSC during the e-verification process
• Issues related to the expiry of the DSC registered with the e-filing portal
• Issues related to the change in the key person associated e-filing portal
• Issues related to Certificate mismatch in the e-verification using DSC.
