The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on September 15, 2023, issued a notification amending Notification No.18/2022-Central Excise dated July 19, 2022, which states “Reduction of the Special Additional Excise Duty on production of Petroleum Crude and export of Aviation Turbine Fuel”
This shall come into force on September 16, 2023
The following has been amended namely: -
• against S. No. 1 which states “petroleum crude” for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 10,000 per tonne” shall be substituted;
• against S. No. 2 which states “Aviation turbine fuel for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 3.50 per liter” shall be substituted.
