BSE updated the Cautionary Messages on Trading Terminal

Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 13, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Update on the Cautionary Messages on Trading Terminal.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The trading members are required to develop functionality on their non–BOLT/BOW front end including IBT, STWT, CTCL, etc., whereby any person while placing an order in a security for which cautionary indicators are applicable, gets a message making them aware of such alerts on the security before placing the order.

• Trading Members are required to submit the confirmation of aforesaid system changes at their end and upload relevant screenshots for the same on the e-BOSS (Member Surveillance System)

• The process for the same has been stated in the notification

• Exchange shall verify the screenshots and update the status as “Closed” for all the valid relevant screenshots. Trading members are requested to check the status until it is updated as “Closed” by the Exchange.
