The Government of Rajasthan on September 14, 2023, issued the Rajasthan Platform Based Gig Workers (Registration and Welfare) Act, 2023.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It extends to the whole of the State of Rajasthan
• This shall apply to:
1. An aggregator operating in the State of Rajasthan
2. Any service or work being carried out that meets the definition of gig worker and platform
• The Registration of Platform Based Gig Workers and Aggregators has been stated
• The Platform Based Gig Workers Fund and Welfare Fee has been stated
It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint
