The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW)on September 15, 2023, notified the Insecticides (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2023 further to amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971.
The following has been amended: -
•In the Insecticides Rules, 1971 clause (i) of “Explanation” para of sub-rule (3) of rule 19 shall be substituted with the words: “(i) no registration certificate holder shall use a label or leaflet, which is not in accordance with the provisions of the Insecticides (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023, after a period of nine months from the date of commencement of the Insecticides (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023.”
