The Government of Chhattisgarh on September 14, 2023, issued a notification to amend notification no. F 3- 53/2020/CT(R)/V(19), dated February 04, 2022, related to the Table of Registration and other related fees payable under the Registration Act, 1908.
The following amendment has been stated:
• In the said notification, In the sub-head "exemption and restriction" of Heading “Table of registration fees”, after the serial number (65), the following serial number (66) shall be added, namely: -
"(66) Charges a Registration fee maximum of rupees 2000/- on the instruments presented for registration, relating to conversion into landlord rights for allotment of government land, settlement of encroached land and concessional/non-concessional permanent leases, in the urban areas."
This notification shall come into force from September 14, 2023, and shall be effective till March 31, 2024.
