The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution (MoCAF&PD) on September 19, 2023, amended an older notification number S.O. 371(E), dated February 08, 2017, related to the use of Aadhaar as an identity document for delivery of services or benefits or subsidies.
The following has been stated: -
•In the said notification, - (a) in paragraph 1, in sub-paragraph (2), for the words, figures, and letters “by September 30, 2023”, the words, figures and letters “by December 31, 2023” shall be substituted.
(b) in paragraph 2, in sub-paragraph (1), for the words, figures, and letters “by September 30, 2023”, the words, figures, and letters “by December 31, 2023” shall be substituted.
