The Government of Haryana on September 13, 2023 issued a notification regarding the Haryana Provision of Sports Equipment Scheme 2023-24
This scheme aims to for provide grant of sports equipments to Gram Panchayats and Municipal bodies and lead to encourage the youngsters in the State towards sports
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the Municipal Bodies or Gram Panchayats would be eligible for making applications under the scheme, if proper Field of Play (FoP) for the requisite sport is available in their town/ village.
• This scheme will be valid during the financial year 2023-24 i.e. till March 31, 2024.
• It states that the Applications shall be submitted in prescribed form in the offices of District Sports Officers, for which proper receipt must be given to the applicant. Record of applications, so received, must be entered in chronological order of receipt in a register maintained for this purpose.
• The application can be submitted on any working day.
• The Timeline for processing applications has been stated
• The Terms & Conditions have been stated
