The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) on September 13, 2023, proposed amendments in the PFRDA (National Pension System Trust) Regulations, 2015.
The proposed changes are as stated:
• Appointment of trustees, their terms and conditions, and norms with respect to meetings of the Board of Trustees of NPS Trust have been detailed.
• Obligations, duties and responsibilities of the Board of Trustees of NPS Trust have been specified with respect to the exit of subscribers and audit of NPS Trust.
• Appointment of CEO - NPS Trust has been detailed.
The draft proposal is open for all the stakeholders for consultation and public comments till October 04, 2023. The Comments/feedback can also be provided for any other provisions of PFRDA (National Pension System Trust) Regulations, 2015 where changes have not been proposed.
