Commercial Compliance The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAF&PD) on September 20, 2023, notified the date for enforcement of provisions of the Jan Vishwas Act, 2023.

The Ministry has appointed October 01, 2023, as the date on which the provisions of the Jan Vishwas Act, 2023, in so far as it relates to serial number 40 and the entries thereto in the Schedule to the Jan Vishwas Act, 2023 relating to the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, shall come into force.
