The Government of Madhya Pradesh on September 29, 2023, revised the minimum wage rate for the scheduled employment from October 01, 2023, to March 31, 2024.
The following rates for the following scheduled employment have been mentioned-
•The revised wage rate for employment in agriculture from October 01, 2023, to March 31, 2024, is mentioned in the document attached.
The average of the All India Consumer Price Index for the period from January to June 2023 has been 386. The average of the last six months was 379. All India Consumer Price Index has increased by 07 average points above 379 (386-379). As a result, the variable dearness allowance for semi-skilled, skilled, and highly skilled workers in 67 scheduled employments has increased from the value of Rs 25/- per point per month to Rs (25x07) = 175/
The revised wage rate for for the employees and laborers employed in the notified 67 scheduled employment such as planning in power plant, employment in steel plant, employment in sponge iron, employment in rolling mill, employment in casting industry industries, cement factory, employment in security guard Planning in building and other construction work, employment in stone crushing, stone crusher and crusher, employment in brick kiln from April 01, 2023 to September 30, 2023 are mentioned in the table below-

- The revised wage rate for employment in daily wages employed in a printing press from October 01, 2023, to March 31, 2024, is mentioned in the table attached to the document.
- The revised wage rate for employment in Net Payable to Beedi Roller (7-(8+9) from October 01, 2023, to March 31, 2024, are mentioned in the table attached to the document.
This notification is effective from October 01, 2023.
