The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 29, 2023, notified regarding Reporting for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications and systems offered and used by market intermediaries.
stockbrokers are required to submit the details on the captioned matter through BEFS in the module “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Language”.
Stockbrokers, who are offering or using applications or systems as defined in Annexure ‘B’ to the aforesaid SEBI Circular are required to submit the details in the AI/ML Reporting Form. Further, stockbrokers who are not offering or using the applications or systems as defined in Annexure ‘B’ are also required to submit the AI/ML Reporting Form by selecting the option “No” in BEFS.
Stockbrokers may please note that in case the details on the captioned matter for the current quarter (July 1, 2023 – September 30, 2023) are the same as the previous quarter (April 1, 2023 – June 30, 2023), an option has been provided in BEFS as “Replicate data” to submit the details.
The submission process will be considered complete only on receiving “Acknowledgement mail”.
Annexure ‘B’ and the user manual are attached on the top right after clicking on the module in BEFS.
Stockbrokers are requested to submit the above-mentioned details for the quarter ended September 30, 2023, from October 1, 2023, to October 15, 2023.
